LockLogix Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated November 4, 2026
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ARK Muzik, LLC DBA LockLogix (“LockLogix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the LockLogix website, software, applications, platform, and related products and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Professional Use Only
LockLogix is a professional software platform intended for use by professional locksmiths, locksmith businesses, and other authorized security professionals for legitimate business purposes.
The Service is not intended for general consumer use.
By creating an account or using LockLogix, you represent and warrant that you are using the Service for legitimate professional or business purposes and that your use complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
You may not use LockLogix to facilitate unlawful entry, unauthorized access to property, theft, fraud, circumvention of security systems, or any other unlawful activity.
LockLogix does not independently verify that a user holds any particular locksmith license, certification, authorization, or professional qualification unless we expressly state otherwise.
You are solely responsible for maintaining any licenses, permits, certifications, insurance, registrations, or other credentials required for your professional activities.
2. Eligibility and User Accounts
You must create an account to access certain features of LockLogix.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your username, password, and other account credentials. You are responsible for activities conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You may not allow unauthorized individuals to access your account, impersonate another person or business, create an account using false information, or attempt to access another user's account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization or your credentials have been compromised, you must promptly notify us at admin@locklogix.com.
3. Organizations and Authorized Users
LockLogix may allow multiple users to participate in an account, company, organization, or shared workspace (“Organization”).
An Organization may designate one or more users as owners, administrators, employees, technicians, or other authorized users.
Users acting through an Organization acknowledge that certain information they create, enter, upload, or maintain may belong to or be controlled by that Organization rather than the individual user.
Organization owners and administrators may have the ability to add or remove users, modify permissions, access organizational records, and otherwise administer the Organization's LockLogix account.
Each Organization is responsible for determining who is authorized to access its account and information.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of LockLogix require a paid subscription.
Subscription prices, billing frequency, included features, and applicable charges will be disclosed before purchase.
LockLogix does not offer a free trial unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize LockLogix and its third-party payment processors to charge the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and other disclosed charges to your selected payment method.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, subscriptions automatically renew for successive billing periods until canceled.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method associated with your account.
We may suspend or restrict access to paid features if payment cannot be processed.
5. Cancellation of Subscription
You may cancel your subscription using the cancellation functionality provided through LockLogix or another cancellation method we make available.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation prevents your subscription from renewing at the end of your current paid billing period.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your LockLogix account or your User Data.
Following cancellation or expiration, certain paid features may become unavailable or restricted.
You are responsible for exporting or otherwise preserving any information you need before access to paid features ends.
6. No Refunds
ALL PAYMENTS TO LOCKLOGIX ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Cancellation of a subscription does not entitle you to a full or partial refund, prorated refund, credit, or reimbursement for any unused portion of a billing period.
Unless otherwise stated, you may continue to have access to the applicable paid features through the end of the billing period for which payment has already been received.
7. User Data
“User Data” means information, records, files, documents, notes, attachments, images, and other content submitted, entered, created, stored, or transmitted through LockLogix by or on behalf of a user or Organization.
Depending on your use of LockLogix, User Data may include information concerning:
locksmith businesses and employees;
customers and customer contacts;
properties and facilities;
projects and service records;
doors and openings;
locks and locking hardware;
keys and key assignments;
key systems and master-key systems;
key codes, bittings, combinations, or other security-related records;
hardware schedules;
notes, documents, and attachments; and
other professional locksmith or security information.
As between you and LockLogix, you or your Organization retain ownership of your User Data.
You grant LockLogix a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, copy, process, transmit, back up, display, and otherwise use User Data as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the Service.
8. Responsibility for Customer and Security Data
Because LockLogix may contain sensitive information regarding customers, properties, keys, locks, master-key systems, and other physical-security systems, users must exercise appropriate professional care when entering, accessing, exporting, sharing, or otherwise handling such information.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, authorizations, and lawful bases necessary to enter, upload, store, or process User Data through LockLogix.
You are responsible for determining whether information should be entered into LockLogix and who within your Organization should be permitted to access it.
LockLogix is not responsible for unauthorized disclosure resulting from a user's sharing of credentials, granting of inappropriate permissions, exporting or distributing information, or other actions outside LockLogix's reasonable control.
9. Acceptable Use
You may use LockLogix only for lawful professional purposes.
You may not use the Service to:
violate any applicable law or regulation;
facilitate unlawful or unauthorized entry into property;
facilitate theft, burglary, fraud, or other criminal activity;
obtain or distribute security information without authorization;
gain unauthorized access to another person's account, data, system, or network;
interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of LockLogix;
introduce malware, viruses, ransomware, malicious code, or harmful content;
probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without our written authorization;
circumvent authentication, access controls, subscription restrictions, or security mechanisms;
scrape, harvest, or systematically extract information from the Service without authorization;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
impersonate another person or organization; or
use the Service in a manner that could reasonably damage LockLogix, our users, or third parties.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a security, legal, fraud, or operational risk.
10. Intellectual Property
The LockLogix software, website, applications, interfaces, designs, databases, documentation, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, and other materials provided by LockLogix are owned by or licensed to ARK Muzik, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, LockLogix grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your legitimate professional business purposes.
No ownership interest in LockLogix software or intellectual property is transferred to you.
11. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your individual LockLogix user account at any time through your user panel within the Service.
You may be required to confirm the deletion request before it becomes effective.
Once confirmed, your individual account may be immediately disabled or scheduled for permanent deletion.
Account deletion is intended to be permanent and may not be reversible.
You are responsible for exporting or otherwise retaining any information you need before deleting your account.
Individual Users Within Organizations
Deleting an individual user account does not necessarily delete data belonging to an Organization.
If you created or accessed customer records, projects, key systems, hardware records, service records, or other information while acting on behalf of an Organization, those records may remain associated with the Organization after your individual account is deleted.
Authorized administrators or users of that Organization may continue to access those records.
Organization Owners and Administrators
If you are the sole owner or administrator of an Organization, LockLogix may require you to transfer administrative control to another authorized user before deleting your individual account.
Deleting an individual user account is not necessarily the same as deleting an entire Organization and all of its data.
Where available, permanent deletion of an Organization and its associated User Data may require a separate confirmation process.
12. Data Following Subscription Cancellation
Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are different actions.
Cancellation of a paid subscription stops future subscription renewals but does not, by itself, instruct LockLogix to permanently delete the account or its User Data.
After cancellation or expiration, LockLogix may retain User Data for a reasonable period to permit account reactivation, data export, legal compliance, security, backup management, and other legitimate business purposes.
Users who want their account permanently deleted should use the account-deletion functionality available through their user panel.
13. Data Following Account or Organization Deletion
When a qualifying standalone account or entire Organization is permanently deleted, LockLogix will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify associated User Data from active production systems.
Depending upon the information maintained through the account, this may include:
locksmith and company information;
customer records;
customer contact information;
property and facility information;
project and service records;
door and hardware information;
key records;
key assignments;
key-system and master-key-system records;
key codes, bittings, and related security information;
documents and attachments; and
notes and other user-created content.
Deletion from active systems may not result in immediate deletion from encrypted backups, disaster-recovery systems, logs, or other archival systems.
Residual copies may remain for a limited period until those systems are overwritten, rotated, or expire according to LockLogix's normal retention and backup procedures.
LockLogix may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements; maintain transaction records; prevent fraud or abuse; investigate security incidents; enforce agreements; resolve disputes; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
14. Data Export and Professional Recordkeeping
You are responsible for exporting and preserving any information that you or your Organization are legally, contractually, or professionally required to retain before deleting an account or Organization.
LockLogix is not responsible for User Data voluntarily deleted by an authorized user or for a user's failure to preserve records required by customers, employers, manufacturers, licensing authorities, insurers, professional standards, contracts, or applicable law.
15. Service Availability and Changes
We strive to provide reliable access to LockLogix but do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.
Maintenance, updates, network failures, third-party service interruptions, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
We may modify, update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or improve LockLogix.
16. Professional Responsibility
LockLogix is a software tool designed to assist professional locksmiths and security professionals.
The Service is not a substitute for professional judgment, manufacturer documentation, proper security procedures, applicable codes, licensing requirements, or compliance with applicable law.
You remain responsible for verifying information stored, calculated, generated, exported, or displayed by LockLogix before relying on it professionally.
17. Third-Party Services
LockLogix may integrate with third-party services, applications, payment processors, hosting providers, or other technology providers.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the applicable third party's terms and privacy policies.
LockLogix is not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
LOCKLOGIX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, completely secure, or error-free, or that all information entered, generated, calculated, displayed, or stored through the Service will always be accurate or complete.
19. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARK MUZIK, LLC DBA LOCKLOGIX AND ITS MEMBERS, OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LockLogix's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to LockLogix during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using LockLogix at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service when reasonably necessary because of nonpayment; violation of these Terms; suspected fraudulent or unlawful activity; unauthorized access; security threats; abuse of the Service; or circumstances in which continued access could reasonably create legal, security, or operational risk.
Termination does not eliminate obligations or liabilities that accrued before termination.
21. Arbitration Agreement and Dispute Resolution
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO HAVE CERTAIN DISPUTES DECIDED BY A COURT OR JURY AND YOUR ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN CERTAIN CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS.
A. Informal Resolution
Before commencing arbitration, the party asserting a dispute must provide the other party with written notice reasonably describing the nature of the dispute and the relief requested.
Notices to LockLogix should be sent to:
ARK Muzik, LLC DBA LockLogix
333 Texas St., Suite 2110
Shreveport, LA 71101
Email: admin@locklogix.com
The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days after notice is received before initiating arbitration.
B. Agreement to Arbitrate
Except for matters expressly excluded below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, your account, your subscription, your use of LockLogix, or your relationship with ARK Muzik, LLC DBA LockLogix will be resolved through final and binding individual arbitration rather than litigation in court, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
The arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and applicable federal arbitration law.
C. Location and Procedure
Unless the parties agree otherwise, arbitration will take place in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, or may be conducted remotely through video conference, telephone, written submissions, or another method permitted by the arbitrator.
Arbitration will be conducted by a recognized arbitration provider mutually agreed upon by the parties.
If the parties cannot agree upon a provider or arbitrator, either party may seek appointment of an arbitrator through a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
The arbitrator may award remedies available to an individual party under applicable law, subject to lawful limitations contained in these Terms.
Judgment upon an arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
D. Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual claim in a court of competent jurisdiction if the claim qualifies for small-claims court.
Either party may also seek temporary, preliminary, or emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction when reasonably necessary to protect intellectual property, confidential information, account or system security, or to prevent unauthorized access or misuse, subject to applicable law.
E. Class Action Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND LOCKLOGIX AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF, CLAIMANT, OR MEMBER OF ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Unless both parties expressly agree otherwise, an arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of multiple individuals or businesses or otherwise preside over a class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
F. Jury Trial Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND LOCKLOGIX EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY FOR DISPUTES REQUIRED TO BE ARBITRATED UNDER THIS SECTION.
G. Severability
If a provision of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If the prohibition against class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceedings is determined to be unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction rather than through class or representative arbitration, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
22. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to LockLogix are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal law, including the Federal Arbitration Act, applies.
For any dispute that is not subject to arbitration under these Terms, you and LockLogix consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the appropriate state or federal courts located in or serving Caddo Parish, Louisiana, subject to applicable law.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Service, our business practices, or applicable laws.
When we update these Terms, we will revise the effective date and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
Your continued use of LockLogix after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly presented to you in connection with a particular LockLogix service or subscription, constitute the agreement between you and LockLogix concerning your use of the Service.
